BLACK BANJO
This piece is particularly resonant as it encapsulates a seamless follow through of years of work with the exacting professionals at Landfall and Black Rock Editions. It was looking at the beautiful flotsam of near perfect but discarded prints, that I was inspired to repurpose them into unique collages. Seeing these works on paper, Steve Campbell’s astute eye recognized the potential for creating a new body of prints, a collaboration I have been thrilled to work on. Like a generational family, Black Banjo carries forward the creative ghost of our previous editions borne of hard work and great friendship. -Mokha Laget, 2022
